2. Hosting and Server Log Files
We host our network content with IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany (hereinafter: IONOS). When you visit our websites, IONOS collects various log files including your IP addresses. However, the IP addresses are anonymized by IONOS immediately upon collection, meaning that no conclusions can be drawn about your person (IONOS WebAnalytics). No cookies are set for this purpose.
In addition, the provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us (browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request). This data is not merged with other data sources.
The use of IONOS is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in a reliable presentation of our website). To ensure data protection-compliant processing, we have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with IONOS.
3. Cookies and Password-Protected Knowledge Bases
Customers of our balls, workshops, and classes receive passwords for exclusive knowledge bases on our partner sites (e.g., barocktanz.com or jane-austen-dances.de). To enable you to access these protected areas and to maintain your login status during the session, we use technically necessary session cookies. These cookies serve exclusively for the security and functionality of the login (Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b and f GDPR). They are automatically deleted after you close your browser. No tracking of your user behavior takes place through these cookies.
4. Interactive Features: "Carte de Visite" & Dispatches
On our event pages (e.g., Rococo Ball, Jane Austen Ball), we offer interactive features such as the creation of a historical "Carte de Visite" (Calling Card). If you use this form, we process the data you enter (name, email, title, gender, request) as well as the portrait image you upload.

- Publication on Facebook (Optional): Provided you have actively given your consent, we will publish your portrait for social dissemination on our Facebook presence. (Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).
Note on withdrawal: You can withdraw your voluntary consent for publication (Newsletter / Facebook) at any time with effect for the future. An informal notification by email to info@barocktanz.com is sufficient for this purpose.
5. Order and Registration Data (Shop & Events)
When you book tickets for events or make purchases in the "Barocktanz Shop", we collect the data necessary to process the contract (name, address, email, payment details if applicable). This data is processed in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR for the fulfillment of the purchase or event contract. Tax-relevant documents are stored according to statutory retention periods (usually 10 years) and routinely deleted thereafter. Name lists for events are destroyed after the event has concluded.
6. Mailing List / Newsletter
If you subscribe to our mailing list, we use your email address exclusively to inform you about upcoming events, balls, and publications. The distribution is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time by sending us an email to info@barocktanz.com or by using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.
7. Photo and Film Recordings at Events
Photo and film recordings are regularly made at our balls and events for documentation and our own promotional purposes (website, social media, flyers). This is done on the basis of our legitimate interest in presenting our historical events to the public (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). Should you wish for deletion or anonymization in recordings where you are clearly and individually in focus, please address your objection, stating the image source, to info@barocktanz.com.
8. Your Rights (Access, Erasure, Objection)
You have the right at any time to receive free information about your stored personal data, its origin, recipients, and the purpose of data processing (Art. 15 GDPR). You also have a right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), blocking, or erasure of this data (Art. 17 GDPR).
